Wind assisted

Still pretty windy this morning not helped by the cat being sick everywhere.

Jill went outside and thought the cat had been poorly outside too but soon spotted there were little spots all over the lawn ( well dodgy looking grass). On closer inspection it turned out to be sea foam. What a distance that has travelled!

Morgan spent the morning snuggled up to her mum. Never to old for a cuddle.

Jill spent some of today outside in the peat store bagging up what can be salvaged and dried out. It was pretty tough carrying it round to the barn without getting blown over.

The upstairs room is now plasterboarded and Michael is finishing the window bay tomorrow. Looking good in our first bedroom.

The landing bit is now also boarded.

EON still haven't appeared to put in the new meter which is holding us up. It looks like we might get a grant to put heating in so we will need an economy 7 meter. We paid for it at the end of June.

To help a bit we bought an electric blanket as the house is starting to get a bit chilly. It's supposed to be cheap to run so we will see. Writing this blog in bed and it is quite toasty.

It did stay quite blustery but the sun did shine for a fair bit giving us a nice evening.
