Up Helly Aa! 2024

 Did the touristy bit again with Roanna starting with the parade along the esplanade.
























The weather was beautiful so we made the most of it and travelled south to Sumburgh, Jarlshoff, Levenwick and St Ninians.





























We headed back to Lerwick for a treat chip super and then waited for the Parade. Children first.




Bruce worked on the framefor the staircase today.


Today was a total weather change. Very high winds, rain nd hail. Big, big seas and 70 to 80mphwinds






The light was lovely on the way home. The hail was painful though.





Jim did a half day and sorted the last skirting.
