Dont always get it right

 Busy day in the house with the lads back putting the heating in. It's getting there- new hole in the wall. But the pipes will fit through. The old immersion tank is out now too, so no hot water for the morning.

Jill chose to discover a spilt can of paint just as the water went off!

Jim  cut out the window surrounds  and then Jill helped with the painting. It was glorious outside today. Thre was a little paint factory in the garden.

The chicken supervised. 

 This afternoon Jill wandered down to the Loch as she hasn't been for a while. It was lovely lots of birds this year. Nearly double last year's Arctic Terns and lots more Oystercatchers with youngsters. The Kittiwakes are also doing well.

Some nice flowers. 

There was also a surprise that needed some thought. Originally Jill thought it was a yound Arctic Tern but they only just have eggs or tiny chick's. Hmmm

A conundrum. At home Jill did some Internet research that said last years youngster's  don't come back for the first year- well apparently they do. We gave in to it and asked the local guys who said, ' it doesn't happen often, but they do'. So it's last years young Arctic Tern!
