Blown from America

We started the day with hard work. Jill shifting Rubble and Rob working on his printers colour profile for his business, Zetland Imaging as we have some printing ordered.

Just about lunchtime, Rob comes rushing out shouting 'we've  got to go, there's a Savannah Sparrow on Unst'. So we quickly got sorted, Jill booked the inter Island ferries, and of we went. It was tight, but we made it to the ferry on time and surprisingly managed to get on an earlier than booked ferry from Yell to Unst. 20 minutes later we were at Skaw watching the bird in the sunshine.

It was great to watch as it was very active, constantly feeding and occasionally having a bath in the burn or little snoozes on the bank. Smart little bird all the way from East USA.

We were pretty hungry by the time we got home!
