Remembering

 Our lives changed 6 years ago today when we survived this crash.

We were very lucky and have not given up but moved forward. It's been hard but with a lot of change we are still going strong and making mistakes!

Today was a bit emotional for both of us so we gave ourselves a few hours out. This happened to coincide with a rare bird! News can about a black- faced bunting at Njugal Water so we headed out. It wasn't looking good when we got there. There were about 5 people looking but it hadn't been seen for a while.

 Luckily after about an hour it was found down by the derelict road at Brig of Fitch. It was bouncing around trying to find food and buries itself in the grass so Jill was happy to get just 2 shots.

There were several other birds around while we were looking.

It was a good few hours. Wildlife always makes us feel better.
