Bad weather birding

It was a very miserable day.

Jill bagged up the left over insulation in the attic. It's dusty!. Then it got a bit of tidying up there.

Rob has nearly finished in the office so Jill left him to it and did some driveway wet weather birding. We are blessed, the road to our house was packed full of birds. There were about 350 lapwings, 120 ish Golden Plover, 8 redshank, 62 snipe ( that were visible), 36 curlew, a few red Grouse, mallards, Teal, 500 plus starlings, 4 continental blackbirds, 18 greylags and some Meadow pipits and common gulls. Pretty good numbers.

Not a bad hour out.

Then it was back to ironing bed linen.
