Another hedgehog

Jill found another hedgehog curled up asleep in the middle of the lawn in a small pile of grass. It was raining and it was getting soaked so it got a night in a straw filled box with some cat food. This morning food was gone and so was the hedgehog. It had obviously dried out.

Jill did some more work on the rockery today. Its going to take a while as it needs lots of soil. In-between moving soil she did some tidying up in the garden. Moving stone and pallets.

Rob is still tidying the office as he found an area where the floor is still damp after the leak.

Jill popped out for a bit to see if there were any thrushes about. She found  a mistlethrush, around 40 redwings, 3 large groups of golden plover/ lapwing/ curlew , a pheasant ( unusual up here) and a small group of Grouse.

It was a dreary day but great to have all these right by the house.
