We would like to start by saying a massive thank you to friends and family today. Had a mighty stressful day- not if our own making, but we had some awesome help.
Thank you.
So our plans got changed a bit. Jill didn't have time to do anything on the house but luckily our amazing Bruce got in upstairs and put the toilet in and a temporary doorstop on our temporary door. Another step closer.
Rob had his usual appointment for his foot. It actually looks like it is getting there again so fingers crossed.
Lunchtime we met up with our friend Penny to catch up on the problems with her house purchase. It's all got mighty complicated and problematic. The Scottish system seems even more broken than in England and with crofting rights thrown in for good measure.
Then Rob had an eye appointment for his new glasses. All seems well since his surgery.
Then, just round the corner Jill took a short walk to see a Northern Female Bullfinch in Lerwick. There were 2. They are a bit bluer and bigger than the ones we used to see down south. These probably come from Scandinavia
Nice Robin too. Quick shop next although Tescos looked a bit apocalyptic for some reason. No milk, bread nor much fruit and veg.
