Super dooper day

The weather has been astoundingly good. It was great to spend most of the day outside doing some gardening bits. There were still quite a few new meadow pipits and blackbirds arriving.

Jill worked on securing the wobbly wall. It's not going anywhere now, good and solid. She did disturb a young mouse though.

We popped to the surgery to go and see the lovely Alison to get Robs foot checked. The harbour at Walls was so calm

Bruce carried on making the woodworking bits for the porch. Looking amazing in there. Not much linseeding to do now either.

Jill finished off the day cutting the long front grass and the path to the Nissan hut. Phew!

We were hoping it would be clear for a trip out in the dark for Aurora but it was going to cloud over. Instead we has an evening trip to Sandness and it didn't disappoint. Lots of Sanderling, Turnstones and as we were about to come home for tea, otter!

It was a lovely evening.
