There was obviously a bit of bird movement overnight as we woke to quite a few extra blackbirds in the garden and a couple of Robins first thing.
It was a showery day so a few bits and pieces got done outside. Jill did a general tidy round outside and added a few more buckets if mortar to the wobbly wall its not so wobbly now. Jill also found time to investigate the potato patch. Not bad for 2 bags of reduced seed potatoes from b and q on our last visit.
Then it was inside to put linseed oil on the porch wall. It really does stink but brings out the colour.
We let Bruce down at coffee time. Tried some new biscuits. Blimey, shrinkflation at its best.

Bruce was doing lots of templates to cut the wood for the lintels. It's fiddly and so not quite done yet. Will be ready tomorrow
Nice light on Foula tonight. Even more obsessed now we've been. Penny very kindly took a nice picture of us while we were there.
