Punk bird

The tractors were back today as it was sunny. Glad we moved the crate out of the way in time so they could get through.

Jill did a second coat on the ceiling and a first coat on the wall. It's getting there.

Just before lunch we decided to make the most of a beautiful day. We started at Sandness which was lovely in the sunshine but quiet and then on to West Burrafirth where the Terns were busy.

Rob needed to get some stationary for accounts so we drove to Lerwick for some folders. There was a close Tystie in the harbour. Found some reduced bedding plants too.

After that we had no plans so decided to go and see the Rosy Starling at Dale. Good choice as this punk bird showed really well in a garden. It is giving the starlings some grief!

We stopped at Lunna on the way home and Jill did a new bit of path at Lunna Ness. Nice walk and Jill was pleased to find lots of tiny carnivorous Sundews. She has been looking for ages.

The light was odd when we got home. Foula clearly had a lot of rain but there was also sunshine.

Good day.

Scenic trip out

Still snow on the ground so there has been nothing going on with the house. Unfortunately the new tablet Rob has been on for his heart made...
