This morning , Jill got on with painting. Last coat on the ceiling, then a second coat on the plasterboard. The coving will go up soon so we needed to paint that part of the wall at the top. We will also be putting up a picture rail so will decide the height when the coving is up. It looks odd for now but quite pleased with the shade of green we mixed.
Jill also worked on the new gravelled area. It's going to get an edge. Gradually.
This afternoon, Jill went over to Flawton to see Ian, a nice man who has lots and lots of willows. He is going to let us have lots if cuttings. He has a beautifully located croft with lots of amazing plants . It's near Noonsborough. On the way home, Jill saw a vehicle hit a lamb. After checking on it, she decided to divert and go and see Alan to try and find it's owner. It was pretty poorly and had a horn hanging off. Hopefully Alan got hold of them as it was a bit messy and the poor lamb was very out of sorts. Definately no pictures!
