Mammal day

Bruce has done a great job today continuing with the plasterboarding and sorting out our communications cupboard on the landing. Everything fits in perfectly. We had discussions about electricity as our bill has gone ridiculously high. Will do some investigating tomorrow. No Jim this week.

Jill did some more peat moving but not much as it was drizzly most of the day.

Early evening drive found several Hares close to the road which was a treat.

Jill spent half an hour watching the gulls plucking crabs off the surface seaweed.

More Hares on the way home. Jill wanted to see the view from above Bridge of Walls so walked up to Scord of Brousta a settlement that was a farm between 3000 and 1500 bc.

The extra treat was a short sighting of an otter.
