A bit less bounty in the sea.

Bruce still has a black and blue knee so we were grateful to see him today.  The landing is now plasterboarded and taped. It looks weird it's been open for so long.

The cat likes it.
The creation has  had some more work done on it. All will be revealed tomorrow. Its currently covered ready for the unveiling.

Jill put a new plant in the garden its crocosmia luckier and seems to survive here so fingers crossed. Some if the willows are now sprouting well and the sycamores seem to be rooting ok and the wildlife patch is looking good.

Jill took her first booking for a wildlife day looking for otters and hares on Wednesday. Hope the weather will be kind. Looking forward to it.
This evening Jill went to Sandness to see how the Skuas are doing. It was a real food chain going on. One puffin was being hounded by the Terns, every fish they stole was being stolen by the Skuas. If the Skuas weren't quick enough, the gulls were pinching any that dropped from the Terns beaks. Gannets were very busy feeding and the Gulls were picking up crabs from the top if weed at a great rate if knots and divers were taking food away to their young. There was all sorts going on.

There was a lovely redshank sat quietly minding its own business.

Nice patch of water lollies on the way home.

Pepper was waiting for her tea when Jill got in.

Scenic trip out

Still snow on the ground so there has been nothing going on with the house. Unfortunately the new tablet Rob has been on for his heart made...
