Fixing errors.

Poor Bruce has had an awkward couple of days fixing stud wall doorways too small for the actual doors. He has done an awesome job and today the attic stair door was fitted in.  He has also had to rejig things in the bathroom as the floor isn't level. He tried to put the toilet in but with the cistern level the pan wouldn't sit right. Pardon the pun! All jobs he shouldn't have to be doing so we are very grateful.

Jill did lots of odd jobs and tidying as it kept threatening to rain. It did stay dry enough to get some plants in. After a while she came in and undercoated the cupboard door.

Rob has been much better the last few days so did some paperwork and some tidying up - so we won't find anything tomorrow. Good he is feeling better though. We are both feeling stressed and a fair bit low with  having to spend so much of our budget fixing things that shouldn't have been done incorrectly in the first place. It's very depressing and upsetting.

Rob didn't fancy going out so Jill popped down the hill to find some seals to talk to. There are always some there. It was quite rough.

Seals have amazing whiskers.
At least 5 Red- Throated divers and a few other bits and bobs.
Disturbed a pair of Redshank on the way back while  looking at the Bogbean in the ditch.

Got to love bogbean!
Moving through quickly to let the Redshanks settle, it was good to see lots more variety of flowers coming up. Shetland really is a special place.
