Today it was just us and Jim so we concentrated on decorating.
Jim did another coat and some more work on the big wall, put the handrail back and put the moulding back on the stairs.
He also worked on other bits of wall. The paint is amazing it still shows the woodgrain
Jill did some undercoating and swapped to varnishing when it arrived in the post.
Two coats of clear matt varnish done.
Checked on the new burn by the house. It is still running and has cleared. It's definately doing its job keeping the water from the house.
It seems most is coming from the old well.
