The roads to Walls were actually pretty good so Rob went into the hall for a coffee and our good friend Frank took me home in his 4x4. We went via the Burrastow road and it was mostly clear but our road was still very icy. The sse trucks had carved a track through the snow which helped a bit. It was good to get back in the house although the snow was piled up the door and the cats litter trays were beyond stinky. It's mighty cold in there.
The cars were not very happy, for a while but did come round a bit. They are fine just a bit disgruntled
A bag of clothes was collected, cats fed and a quick goodbye. The chooks were waiting for me in the barn. Unfortunately though I had to relocate a family of mice from the bin.
One of which ran up into Jill's jumper
Frank took some pictures while he was waiting. My new best friend, Jess.
We headed back to Lerwick and about 1.30pm our neighbour messaged to say the power was back on but then it went back off again so we are glad to be back in the hotel.
We made the most of it and had a nice Thai meal. Jill found it a bit of a struggle with her cold
