Excellent care

The medical care has been really good. Today Rob had a foot bandage check but ended up with his glucose levels going too low. The staff were on it really quickly and sorted him out. His consultant also appeared and helped, cheerful demanding he slurped the last of his orange juice. His levels have been a bit awry  as the infection  in his leg had been outstanding for so long.  Now it's gone, his system needs to settle a bit. It will get there though. The staff were amazing. The consultant even phoned this evening to check he was OK and because he had forgotten to mention something. Mr Fryer is an amazing person and physician.

We did another run to the tip and picked up 2  chairs. Not sure where we will store them but they will go in the self catering unit.

We had a quick drive out to Sumburgh but couldn't find the Barred Warbler that was there in the morning. Lots of birds about but nothing unusual.

There were also a lot of waders at Virkie and a couple of Shelduck.

Then news of a Citrine Wagtail at Braewick beach on the way home encouraged us to divert.. it was a new place for us and very scenically beautiful.

Unfortunately the beach doesn't reflect the scenery as it one of the most littered beaches Jill has ever seen. It was quite distressing which is a shame as it is directly below a caravan site so will be what tourists see.

There were a few waders and a couple of seals but no wagtails.

We stopped at the great co-op  for the reduced section on the way home. Some nice bargains.
