Bit of quick gardening before it was back to Lerwick for an eye check to make sure Robs eye surgery had worked. It was good news.
A quick lunch at the harbour watching Black guillimots.
Then it would have been rude not to go and see the Rosy Starling just up the road. Not sure if it is the same one we briefly saw at the weekend, but this one showed really well.It was good to see collared doves while we there.
Back home Rob got on with some paperwork while Jill popped down to see if there were still lots of divers in the bay. There were, but it was a bit chilly. Also did a bit of investigating and found the lovely folded rocks which are likely connected to the Walls faultline that continues all the way to loch lomond. On the way back Jill noticed a small ruin by the burn. Need to do some checking as it looks like it might have been a mill.
