Hot and bothered in Aberdeen

It was an early start to get to the airport for just after 7am as Rob had laser surgery booked at the hospital. We are very grateful to Aberdeen NHS who are picking up the mess left by the N and N.

The fight was a bit turbulent as it was windy and the pilot managed the best landing ever. This time we had more time to look and it was quite sad to see all the trees flattened by Arwen from above. Huges swaiths of them. The scenery is lovely though.

Aberdeen was about 26 degrees and the consulting room was about twice that which embarrisingly made Jill feel poorly?, but the staff were amazing. Lots of water later and she felt better. A quick wander up to Aldi was good.

The plane was late, as usual so we stopped at Saffron for a lovely curry and met a really lovely troupe of contemporary dancers who are touring the islands, The Straw Boys.  We intend to see if we can go and see them as they will be local.

It was good to get home safely, and just about in the light at 11pm.
