Had a break

No paint stripping today. Did some sanding instead! The stairs are really hard work but starting to see an improvement. Will put up a picture tomorrow

It was a miserable morning, only 11 degrees and drizzly. Jill worked down the garden shifting breeze blocks after the dusty job of sanding. The dust certainly got blown away. Lots of Oystercatchers on the field. Over 50.

It would have been a good morning to sit comfortably and wait for the bus. Not sure who puts the comfy chairs in.

The afternoon saw another trek to The Gilbert Bain for visiting. They will be doing blood checks tomorrow  to make sure the unfection has gone then Rob hopes he can come home although his feet will have to be up for a while.

The Merlin family have now moved away from the nest site and Jill couldn't spot where they had moved to but it was lovely to see thistles flowering.

We have some new arrivals tomorrow which is exciting. Pictures to follow.
