Guess what!

Yup, you guessed it, more paint stripping. The staircase is just about finished. It takes ages as it goes all sticky. Will be able to start sanding the stairs soon.

Michael returned having finished his other job. It was a bit windy for working on the roof but he popped up to take some measurements as we need new rooflights,  non standard size, of course .

Jill finished off the paint stripping on the stairs and went visiting. Rob is better and hopefully will be home soon. The food is the only bad bit of the hospital, staff are all amazing, but the food is poor. Cheer up treat called for as he hasn't been eating much. He fancied scampi so a quick trip to the chippie!

Jill had a quick wander to see how the guillimots are doing before picking them up. The Knab is a lovely spot and so close to town.

You can see Robs room from the Knab.

The Gullimots were busy trying to fly with wriggly fish. It was quite comical  there were other birds about too

Some days it's hard fitting in some bird watching but the beauty of Shetland is you can find something to watch any time anywhere.
