New Additions

This morning Jill got Patrick started in sanding a door outside making the most of the good weather.  A trial replacement door rim is on its way which will hopefully fit and we are replacing all the hinges with look a like antique brass ones. It was good to have Patrick back after covid.

Michael got on up on the roof. Luckily no wind today.

Mid morning Jill had to go and meet the Papa Stour ferry to collect our new additions.

Its been really horrible without chickens but they are now settled in.

The Rooster is Ted. He is a cross Light Sussex. The last light Sussex we had was called Brighton so this one is Hastings (Ted Hastings ). We need some names for the 3 girlie's.

After they were settled Jill went to see Rob who had been moved to a different ward. We are hoping he will be ok to come home but the anti biotics are making him very sick. He has lost 8kg in a week.

It was a lovely evening so Jill stopped at the coast on the way home. There were 6 Arctic Skuas chasing the terns for the fish they were bringing to their chick's. There were a few other bits and bobs around too

Foula looked lovely on the way home. It has the 2nd highest cliffs in Europe.
