Good to be home

We have to admit, we were absolutely shattered and didn't wake up til after lunchtime. Oops!. Still, it is good to be home, even if the wind was blowing  and it rained all day. Has a quick look at the garden to see what the sheep had nibbled in the garden when they got in. Just the Swedish Whitebeam and a couple of willows. Good to see the fascia glowering though and lots of willowherb. Also, there is good news as there are only 3 new stalks of knotweed, so it's definitely  dying back.

The other good thing today was playing with hot water from the taps. Yay!

Jill had  a little walk early evening. Shame it was very wet, windy and gloomy.

It was good to catch up on the local wildlife families and new wildflowers that had come up while we were away. Iris, orchids, yellow rattle, ragged robin and some to be identified . Lots of Arctic Terns by the beach as a precious group of Gannets fishing. The rate they are dying from flu, makes you wonder if they will make it.
