Started the day with removing a bit more of the knackered and damp wood so the electricians will find the wiring easier and ready to put in insulation.
Then another appointment! They do it slightly oddly here as the NHS insisted Rob see a physio before a consultant to discuss his shoulder and collar bone. So we headed to Lerwick again. We left early so we would have time to pick up a sandwich but that all changed when the call came out that there was a bull Orca 3 miles from Lerwick.
We diverted to Gulberwick Bay and quickly got on it. What an experience. He is a huge bull with a massive fin. At ground level, unlike looking down on the ones at Sumburgh, it looked enormous.
We only had half an hour so the sandwich had to wait.
Appointment went well and physio is referring to consultant. We should have a date Just after our holiday.
A quick sandwich from Co-op and into DITT to pick up the floor board. They didn't charge as much as we feared which was good news.
On the way home we stopped in Walls to pick up prescriptions and found a party of Eider and a Tystie at the pier. It was lovely to see an early purple orchid in the gp' s car park.
When we got home, waving at Michael as he passed us on his way home,(We are so lucky to have him), there was still time for more so Jill got on and finished painting the electricity shed and blitzed a few new knotweed shoots. Then a bit more crowbarring with some help from the cat!
Full on day!
You have an indoor toilet aswell ? Love the Orca
