A bit breezy

It was actually sunny and just a bit breezy but by mid morning the wind picked up and it stated raining. We stayed in and made a start on packing. Now which box are those teeshirts in!

Jill had another go at the upstairs wall ready for insulating whilst Rob got on with sending the information over to the lady who is doing our elevations.

Stone work is looking OK.

We had a lovely invite to Michaels house to meet his family and have a coffee. It was great to put faces to names. The house is amazing.

The weather really took a turn for the worse but we did a bit of adventuring on the way home and found a small field packed full of nesting birds which we viewed from the car ( would have got really wet otherwise). There were about 10 pairs of Arctic terns, redshank, Lapwing and oystercatchers in amongst the orcids almost in the dark!.

We spotted a lovely snipe on the driveway as the weather got worse.

Scenic trip out

Still snow on the ground so there has been nothing going on with the house. Unfortunately the new tablet Rob has been on for his heart made...
