Eider side

We left the lads working on the lintel in the first bedroom and then off to the tip with remnants of the old range, or should we say sheets of rust! Then 2 new tyres at Jim's garage, pick up the repaired lawn mower and a quick lunch at the Fort  chip shop. Yum

Then it was back home to pick up Bentley for his vet check with the lovely Colin. phew.

Bentleys leg is on the mend. He still limps a bit but puts weight on it so it's looking good.

We dropped him home and settled him before we took a drive as the weather today has been amazing.

We heard news if a local King Eider so we headed off to the Voe where it had been seen, with no joy. However we the discovered from another birdwatcher that it was on the other side of the Voe nearer to home. So we headed round the other side and just caught it as it swam off. Some if these Voes are huge! Lovely spot too, full of Spring Squill and Pignut

Just beautiful.
