Not a good night to be fixing the roof

It rained pretty hard overnight so we woke to the delightful sound of rain dripping through the roof. The good news is, the lads are nearly ready to put the ridge tiles back which will fix the problem. Yay

It's looking so much better.

Today's hole in the garden for planting contained 3 full legth, scaffolding poles. They will go for recycling tomorrow.

Jill went to the lovely Catherine's house for a super shower and then we popped out to visit one of our new neighbours at Dale. She showed Jill all her livestock which was a treat as there were new borns everywhere, calves, lambs, kids and Shetland foals . Some of the ponies are miniature shetlands and they are sweet. Will take the camera next time.

We have another visit from planning tomorrow so we will let you know what they say.

The sun shone most of the day and the sea was so sparkly
