The new flooring in the breakfast room went in on Monday. We had to replace it as the laminate broke up after it was relaid from the heating going in. We are still working with RECC who are trying to mediate with Hughes. It's not working so far as they are still lying. They have admitted they caused a few drips now! Since when has over 100 litres been a few drips!
Hadn't spotted that the vent was covered and when Jill opened the window and flue to get a Starling out, the floor blew up like a balloon!
Jim fixed our tap for us today, the drip was driving us mad. He had a bit of trouble getting to switch the water of too the taps as the valves were being the cupboard, but he soon sorted it. No drip. Yay
Jill popped out for an hour and it was quite productive. Nice hare, young Wheatear, few bits and bobs at Melby . It clouded over just as a pair of Scootie Allans appeared, stealing fish from the terns. It makes for a good aerial display.
