Tale of two otters

Sad to see our honeymooners head off this morning. We wish them all the best for their future. What a lovely couple.

Yesterday. We popped over to Skerries.  We had a nice red throated diver on the way.

It was flipping freezing and had actually snowed over night but it was super to catch up with Baz and Emma on the ferry. We congratulated Baz on his new Dandelion book. If Baz doesn't know a type of Dandelion, it doesn't exist!

It stayed cold all day. We had a few chiffys, a Willow warbler, 2 redpolls, 12 swallows and 2 otters. One of Skerries and one were we ate our tea in Scalloway Harbour. Jill always gets excited seeing otters. Jill found a small patch of Danish Scurvy grass just starting to flower. It grows in Norfolk at the road edge as it likes salt

This one's called spot. Spot the otter!
