Honeymoon

 We said goodbye to our fabulous guests, Jaimie and John ( great to meet you) and Joseph and Julia ( super young couple from Golders Green). We sorted the washing and cleaning and had an evening at Melby. 17 common terns and still plenty of Purple Sandpipers, some in full summer plumage 


















Today we had four new guests coming in, so we did our chores early and decided to try and find puffins at Sumburgh. Plenty on the sea, but only 1 on the cliffs. Good numbers of razorbills and a showy raven 






Then we headed North checking out several spots. Jill got a Shetland tick, Greenshank, but too far away for photos.












Tonight's guests are amazing a lovely couple from Germany Brigit and Maurice ( think I have spelt both wrong!) and Kirsten and Freddie from Canada and Berlin, who have come to us on their honeymoon. We ordered a sunset specially.
