Very Special Film night

 Lovely sunrise again yesterday.

Jim was here. We are clearing space so next week we can crack on with the extension. Yay!

Today we had a bit of a drive out. We looked for the American Coot but couldn't find it  Did have distant views of Little Grebe, Morhen and Red-necked Grebe.

There were also lots of Whoopers about today.

The light was pretty bad and the wind was still brisk so some good waves and a few birds at Grutness.

Quite a few curlew about.

We stopped in Lerwick on the way back to try for the Northern Eider. Difficult as the light was atrocious.

This evening we had a super time at the Walls Hall. Local celebrities Billy and Susan Mail were holding a big screen viewing of the National Geographic film

It was filmed in Walls. Jill has photographed the otters in the film  playing and feeding in the Voe. If you haven't seen it  on the tv yet we highly recommend it. It won the windscreen Panda Award for best wildlife film.
It was a good evening with a big turn out.
