Today would have been Jill's mum's birthday. Happy birthday mum.
( Mum, Dad and Grannie)
Rob got out to the quarry for the first time on his s ooter. It doesn't handle hills and mud very well.
It got pretty wet and windy yesterday.
Not much building work this week as no Jim and Bruce has been doing other work but he has started on the position of the frame. The roof line has changed as the floor height is higher than we thought so it will now have a pitch instead of being a lean too. Which will look better and match the other roof line.
Jill has been doing some painting on the skirtings upstairs and actually managed to get some weeding done round where the breeze blocks and steel sheets had been stored.
Also had an idea for the bottom of the newel posts. They were left over from the upstairs fireplace.
It was fish and chips night at the hall, so, we raided the last of the £1 jar and had a nice evening out. Some nice cloud formations.
Good news today. We are finally getting round to sorting out our binoculars that got damaged in the 2019 car accident. ( They dont do well flying through the windscreen and bouncing several times off the A47!) Vortex are kindly fixing them under the lifetime warranty. We weren't sure if they would, but we are very grateful
