Couple of problems made better by Dratsi!

 The high winds have rain have caused a few problems this last week. Thursdays wind took the chimney cowl top clean off.

Not impressed that it has only lasted 18 months!

The rain also caused issues coming in through the front door over the new slab. Need that extension up!

Hope it doesn't damage our new tiles! Getting fed up of bailing out.

Jill has been getting depressed about the lack of progress with the extension so went out for a Saturday evening drive. Hare ears over the hill always cheers you up.

Today started a bit wet but we decided we needed a day out. We just stayed on our patch but it started well with a family of Grouse.

Then it turned into a very special day.  We pulled into our usual spot and immediately Rob said otter. We won't apologise for the number of Dratsi photos but it was an amazing experience.

Feel very lucky.

we ended the day with Shetland afternoon tea at Sandness with the company of some friends. Peter and Monika.

We did see some other things, honest!.
