Bit of graft

The weather is still foul for June so it was work indoors again.

We spent a lot of time sorting around the front door. It is a temporary fix to tidy it up. We have reused as much old planking boards as possible but one side had got so wet it disintegrated. One side and the top are now nearly done with old timber. The other side has been plasterboarded for now but we may see if we can source a similar boarding or a ply type look a like.

First attempt at filling joints. Not great but it will be under something. Will sand it tomorrow.

Had a quick run out this afternoon even though it is cold and damp. Few waders about.  40 plus Ringed plovers, few sanderling, Arctic terns, bored looking gulls but not much else.

The peerie shaldar is doing fine.
