Yesterday we had a bit of a wet patch. The washing machine is temporarily in the old kitchen til we have the new one. We have been sticking the hose out of the window but it didn't want to stay put. Amazing how much water there is in a washing machine. Bruce gave it a proper route to the drain today so all good.
He also put in the fiddly bits of wet wall around the door.
Jim fixed the dodgy mess if pipes left in the attic by the first builder so we don't inadvertently break them.
Will add a photo tomorrow to show the improvement. Can now put more flooring down.
Once Jim finished up there he got back onto the bathroom as it's been windy and wet today for outside stuff. 2nd cupboard now done.
Jill did a bit more touching up in the blue bedroom. After spending days hunting for the can of paint, which wasn't anywhere near the others. But, the byre and Nissan hut got a bit of a tidy! Also another board went down in the attic and a bit more trench got dug. Not great with a dodgy back but it's getting there. Shame we can't get the digger round there!
Turned out quite nice just before tea so we went on a Ring Ouzel hunt; but didn't find one. We did see several Great Northern Divers, Red Throated Divers, Wheatears and whilst following one, Jill stood on the fur of a sleeping otter on the footpath. Bit of a rude awakening before it belted into the sea. Many apologies for the scare friend.
