Success

A good day for the garden.

Jill was trying, in vain to slap some more white on the outside in the wind when she heard Goldfinches. We have had them fly over before, but not stop. Today we had 2 on our new feeder station and they were joined by 5 siskin- a first for the garden. They fed all day.

Jill gave up covering everything in white and went over to dig some more trench.

Then it was sanding ogee and undercoating skirting. Jill had a ' feeling pee'd off' day so headed out for a walk this afternoon. Did try and find some Orca but they sort of disappeared from the direction they were headed.

Jim cut the ogee to fit the odd spaces round the door and mitred the skirting.

Bruce did some more with a fiddly bit of wetwall.
This evening, zdavy came over with the digger to put in a test pit to see what it's likely to be like for extension foundations. Looks good, not solid bedrock.!

Interesting misty sunset
