Early paint fail

Well, it had to happen. Lid wasn't on right and undercoat can went flying first thing. When Bruce arrived Jill was trying to scoop it up. We covered the rest in sawdust to soak it up. Luckily it didn't go too far.

Bruce was pleased he had a Linnet in his garden, we will make a twitcher out of him yet. Apparently on seeing it, his daughter, Merran, said 'what the Rob and Jill is that' - we like it! He  continued in the porch, working round the sawdust pile. He is making the hatch to access the cables and has insulated behind it.

Jill mixed up some more resin and set some sea glass and grotie buckies in the window sill.

Bit of sanding and a coat of oil and they look good.

There has been a Siberian Stonechat at Lunna for a while so we decided it was about time we went. It showed really well.

Nice group of mergansers on the way home.
