Birdy day

Migration is in full swing so we braved this mornings soggyness and went to Clickimin to check the trees as we didn't want to go too far today.  Many Skylark on our road out.

Stopped in town briefly first and had a Black Guillimot that didnt want to move.

Lots of Redpolls, also Siskin, Willow Warbler, Yellow browed Warbler,Chiffchaff and Linnet.

It didn't rain for too long so we went for the Cattle Egret that's been around a few days. Amazing how hard it is to spot a big white bird!
We didn't find it so went for a showy Greenish Warbler.

We then decided to try again for the Cattle Egret. Success. A Shetland tick.

Another lovely day. Back to building work tomorrow.
