This one made up for it

Well, unfortunately no one managed to find our missing Towhee today.  We are gutted but will submit the record as we both saw it and hope it gets accepted.

Bruce came over this morning and we pointed the last window. Bruce also tidied up the stonework at the top that was a bit loose.

Jill will do a bit of painting in there tomorrow.

Mid morning News broke of a rare Blackburnian Warbler at Geosetter. Bruce had to go early  so we had the perfect excuse to have the afternoon off. We legged it!!!!

What a bird. It showed really well with a supporting cast of Yellow Browed Warbler and skulky Red-breasted Flycatcher. ( which we didn't get photos of)

Our thought go to Bruce and his family who had some awful news this afternoon. Take care lovely people.
