A step closer

It was a busy house today.

Jill and Bruce put a coat if pva on the walls in the bedroom to seal it. It's a messy job and you spend the rest if the day peeling pva off bare skin on arms and hands ( and noses!) It will dry overnight and the tomorrow we can start with a reveal coat.

Jill taped the landing ceiling. We'll, just the two accessible ends and Bruce did the middle three joins and then filled it.

It was great to have Jim back today. He had picked up the new porch window. It was a bit fiddly as it had to have an opener so the porch doesn't get to hot but it shows off the view so well. The door is also now back in and finally won't leak as it's in properly. It's been a big journey to fix a mistake.

We had to head off mid morning as Rob had an appointment in Bixter and the we went shopping, which was a bit boring.  Here was a massive cruise ship in apparently over 300 meters. Lots of Americans in Lerwick today so presume it is a US company.

As Jim was back we had Fergus here too. The kitties are still a bit wary but also now curious so it wears them out watching what the daft dog will do next.
