Puffin fest

We got up early and went for puffins. We weren't disappointed. We picked the right day and there were hundreds.

Can't see enough of these awesome birds. It was also good to see high numbers if Razorbills.

Coffee  in the cafe was lovely and then we had along chat with our youngest daughter on the phone. As that ended, news came through of a blue- cheeked beeeater on Foula. Bit of a mad dash to try and get there  we met up with Penny , our friend, to try and sort it, but it was too rough. It hasn't been seen again so hopefully we will wake with it on our wall tomorrow! We are in direct line.

We found a family of Pied wagtails on the way home and stopped to admire the bluebells and garlic at Kergord.
