Bruce did a bit more on the window stud work this morning. It's looking good.
It was the usual Friday foot appointment and also scans for Robs pre assessment ready for .his cataract surgery - hopefully in August.
We ran into the turbine convoy again.
We did a bit of shopping and came back for lunch. Its been a very stressful couple of weeks so Rob went for a snooze and Jill went out for a bit as it was a stunning evening.
Jim had popped by for a couple of hours. He has a bad back so was careful but the bit at the top of the porch is now done.
The road out from the house was beautiful.
Stopped in the lay-by to just soak it up and saw a movement out of the corner of the eye.
Shalder babies! So cute.
A quick drive to Sandness gave up lots of beautiful flowers. Squill, Heath Milkwort, marsh orchid ( Jill thinks) and cuckoo plant.
Melby was looking lovely.
On the way back, Jill noticed a pair of Shalder refusing to move off a cattle grid. After parking up and investigating it was obvious the chick's had fallen in.
Using an old fence post and a bag to climb on Jill managed to get them out.
Bentley was pleased to see Jill come home.
