Chasing the weather

So busy yesterday we forgot to mention we had a lovely visit from Jean and Charlie who came to see the house. Jeans uncle used to own it. The history is so important. It was lovely to meet them.

Woke up to wind and haa. We headed off to see what it was doing east. We got all the way to Fetlar to find the lovely weather.

Nice to see a big cuddly Teddy bear enroute.

There were lots of seabirds buzzing round the ferry on the way out.

The weather was gorgeous. The island didn't disappoint as usual. Lots of snipe, meadow pipits and Wheatear.

We did also manage to find a couple of pairs of Red necked phalarope but they weren't easy today.

Not many swallows up here so always good to see them.

On the way back we visited our friends Tracey and Adrian before hopping on the ferry home. They live at Mid Yell.

Managed a bit of strimming when we got home.
