Next generation

It started with a sea haa but ended up being a lovely day. We'll, the midges certainly enjoyed it.

Jim popped over for a bit and put shutters in for the new concrete floor.

Jill did some sorting in the kitchen as the old fridge freezer really needed to go. It did do over 15 years! Then there was time for some strimming.

We headed out for a bit mid afternoon and did a sweep of the local patch. Starting at Sandwater for another look at the Osprey. It was distant but caught a massive fish. We had to wait a while as it sat preening for ages on a really distant post.

They were digging out the beach burn at Melby so it was a bit noisy and very midgey.

We had a really good bit at the end with lots of youngsters about including a beautiful mountain hare leveret. Also a nice Ringed Plover,  Golden plover and Wheatear.

Nice evening with lovely cloud formations.
