Magic door

The cupboard in the bathroom under the attic stairs is quite close to the sink so Bruce took an old door and cut it in half so it hinges in the middle. Perfect.

It will get painted white. Bruce has also made a frame for the door. The gap was a bit narrow so he has made it to fit.

Jill did some more on the walls, doing some 2nd coating. It feels a bit like painting the forth bridge as its a long job. Feeling brave she actually did a bit from up the tower. It's not a fear of heights, but falling off!

Then there was a bit of time for the garden but it kept trying to rain. Grass cut again as it grows so fast here and a bit of wood cutting for the fire.

This evening, Jill finished up after painting undercoat on the skirting.

Our friends Catherine and Finley came over this evening with lots of plants, split from their lovely garden. We had a lovely evening and now have a busy day planned for tomorrow. Cornflowers, Loosestrife, Bistort and lots of others.
