It was forecast to be miserable and wet so we decided to stay at home.
Jill did some sanding and glossing this morning and did a bit of knotweed digging this afternoon. Not that much coming up which is good.
Our good friend Penny popped over to see the house ( and the kitties). She came to see it in October 21 before we moved in so she saw quite a change. Seeing it on the blog is good but doesn't give a feel for how far it has come. She bought cake and flowers which was also lovely and we had a lovely catch up.
Later on Jill headed out for a bit as Rob was having a problem with the computers. It was just a bit of the local patch. Lots of Sanderlings on the beach and always good to watch gannets diving just off shore.
There was a nice pair of tufted ducks at Norby too.
The orchid field near the house is starting to bloom and the oystercatcher is doing OK on the post. Now 5 pairs of common gull nesting near the house.
Couldn't resist a photo of this gorgeous peerie lamb.
