More bargains

 We loaded the car for another trip tip and Bruce started painting again. Then we all had a jolly to Lerwick ( and as it happens, Tescos)  to meet mid morning at Garriocks as it was just about their last day. We finally managed to get the worktop away. It's been more complicated than it should have been!

It would have been rude not to see what they had left. We ended up with another van full. 3 sheets of wet wall, 3 skylights one bathroom window for the extension and a big picture window for the lounge- all for just over £500. Absolute bargain.

One of our new friends, Tim, came up to help get the heavies off the van. It was a good use if physics getting it down and moving it out of the way.

Then we had a wee bit if time left for painting. The scaffold can finally come down.

This evening it was quiz night at the hall. We teamed up with our friends ( Christine and Malcolm) for some brain ache. We actually managed to come second and had a great time.
