It was absolutely glorious today and surprisingly warm.
Most of the snow has melted and the wind has dropped making it easier to bring in plasterboard.
Bruce and Jim worked on the lounge again putting up fireboard around the log burner and plasterboard on the other walls. It's almost done so will take a photo tomorrow when it's finished. It's looking terrific.
Jill played with the drains as they are blocked, we will have to empty the septic tank. To be fair it has been left alone for over 10 years. One of the ditches by the road has also backed up so Jill made a channel to connect that to the new burn. Then it was planting time.
Then it was clearing away some slates and playing with Jim's dog.
Then, early evening we went looking for Tundra Bean Geese on our local pat hunt, but couldn't find them. Just for you Mick Hill, we did find a very obliging hare. It's actually sad that they are going brown just as we have snow.
Three were a few birds about too.
There were lots of good waves too.
Then wow, what an Aurora. Awesoteric but cold.
