Complicated day
Heavy snow first thing.
We had a nice Jack snipe and snipe in our newly made burn by the house this morning inv
Rob had a hospital appointment, but the plough hadn't been and we don't have a 4 x4 ( now on wish list). The hospital said it was important to go so, an ambulance collected us at lunchtime, 2 hours after appointment time. We sat in our car waiting for them at the top of the driveway- which is as far as we had managed to get it!.
Appointment went well but then we got a shout from our lovely neighbour, Bruce, that it had started snowing again - and did so for over an hour. ( yup the neighbour who told us it never snows lol)
Then the hospital transport decided it was too bad to take us home and the taxis said the same so we were stuck at the hospital. It took them ages to decide what to do and it was hard not to be a bit angry but we like the staff as we are there so much. One even offered to try and get us home ( Thank you Sam eventually we got booked into the Lerwick Hotel and had a lovely meal, early anniversary, that was delicious
.
Even with all that. It was a beautiful day
